YOU LEARN FROM WORKING PROFESSIONALS!  The Genesis Digital Photography Learning Center serves the digital imaging community with a hands on learning based curriculum. The mission of the Genesis Digital Learning Center is to prepare our students for personal success now, and beyond, through a hands on process that enhances the learning experience and retention. Direct participation is a critical component to develop an intellectual curiosity about the process of photography. We provide an education that develops critical thinking and higher order cognitive skills - evaluation, analysis, and synthesis.

Creativity

Our Instructors use hands-on learning throughout the curriculum. You will learn to understand and connect with your equipment to make great photographs. Students learn through involvement with content instead of imitation or repetition. Lessons are presented in an experiential, hands-on approach integrated with research and directed discovery. The time and talents of our instructors make possible the rich, dynamic and flexible curriculum that individually challenges and enriches each student.

Collaboration

The Genesis Digital Learning Center offers project-based learning in photography and lighting skills, digital imaging, total color management and archival pigment printing. In all classes, students work cooperatively in small (6) and large groups (up to 16) to allow a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
